No. 1: Dr. Richard T. Bosshardt

Plastic surgeon

Passion: I love the artistic and technical challenges of plastic surgery. While many operations in other specialties are “lifesaving,” many in my specialty are “life changing.” Many patients describe their experience in exactly those words. I love the challenge of trying to make something normal better and of making something that is deformed normal again. It is a happy specialty.
Pet peeve: That most telephone calls are answered by machines, not people. In our office, a person answers every call.
Guilty pleasure: Desserts…no, make that reading a good book on a rainy day. Sounds better.
If you could have a drink with anyone, who would it be and what would you drink? A cup of tea with C.S. Lewis.

Group fitness instructor

Passion: Watching members realize their true fitness potential and reaching their goals. Knowing I’m part of it to help them along the way is amazing.
Greatest career achievement: Being nominated for the second time to the Top 20. Knowing members feel that way is a humbling honor. I love my peeps!!
Secret to success: Keeping a positive attitude. Listening to members’ needs and concerns. Giving modifications to help them perform different exercises they wouldn’t normally try. I love to laugh, so I try to make everyone smile and enjoy themselves while working out.
Pet peeve: Hypocrites. Rude people.
Guilty pleasure: Mint chocolate anything. Ice cream.
