Adventist Health System (AHS) recently announced it was named 2017 Most Wired health system. This system includes Florida Hospital Waterman, and the award is based on a survey by HealthCare’s Most Wired, which is released by the American Hospital Association’s Health forum. According to the press release, this is the fifth year AHS has received this honor.
“The commitment our organization has made to leveraging IT solutions and innovation provides us with the technology resources needed to deliver exceptional care and quality to patients as we carry out the mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ in our community.” said Vicky Pyle, information services director, Florida Hospital Waterman.
The Most Wired hospitals are using every available technology option to create more ways to reach patients and provide access to care. “They are transforming care delivery,” says AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack, “investing in new delivery models in order to improve quality, provide access, and control costs.”
