Happy new year!

Written by Healthy Living

Every year, we round out December feeling like we need to clean things up for January. We enter into the new year full of hope and promise that any goals we had from before surely will be reached this next year. We have a strong focus and commitment to let nothing stand in our way.

Healthy Living wants to help fuel that fire!

This issue is packed with great articles to help you get healthier and feel better! As we start into 2020, there is no greater motivation than this month’s cover story.

Healthy Living interviewed the great chef Robert Irvine. Although he is most famous for being a Food Network star, many people don’t know his past military career and his commitment to the veterans in our country. He also has a commitment to his health and longevity and he shared some tips and inspiration for our readers. You will be surprised at his favorite cheat foods.

Try something new this year with your fitness. Check out the article on functional fitness. I first thought it was a trend for millennials or for people who had zero back issues or injuries. But through experiencing it myself, I discovered that it is a great form of exercise for all ages and abilities. It actually helped my back to become more flexible and pain-free.

The bottom line to living a healthy, happy life begins with a balanced lifestyle. Healthy Living strives to motivate and educate you along your journey by providing the most up-to-date information for you to consider.

As always, we are looking for more stories to share with our readers. If you or someone you know has an inspirational story to share, please contact me directly.

Hoping this will be your best year ever!
